RESEARCH PROJECTS

I have conducted research focusing on the  socio-economical impact of "cultures" onto place, space, region and landscape in the urban area. The formations and actors of "cultures" in urban areas are differentiated, which create the urban space unique. "Culture" refers to the artistic and creative facilities and music space such as Techno clubs or Jazz venues as well as "street culture" consisted of graffiti and dancing in public spaces.

What is unique to certain cities or district and quarters in the metropolitan area?

Along with this individual research interests, I am participating in several interdisciplinary and international research projects.
